I LOVE YOU JESUS

Today I felt a stirring
deep within my heart,
It was a Holy stirring
from which I could not depart.
The Lord was calling my attention
away from earthly things
And before I knew,
I was on my knees
In the presence of my King.
Basking in His glory,
my soul began to sour
And words came tumbling from my mouth,
That I could contain no more.
The stirring deep inside my heart,
had become a bubbling spring
And it came pouring out of me
as I began to sing.
The sweetest love song I ever heard
Such beautiful music made from words
Yet a simpler phrase you could not bring
To offer up to such a King.
Four little words that mean so much
And when uttered – will let you feel His touch.
“I love you Jesus” was my song
“I love y
ou too.” was His res
ponse.

The "Suddenlies" of God

Have you ever asked for something
and thought you'd have to wait?
When suddenly that very day
as you get home it's waiting
at your gate!

Have you ever sought an answer
to a burden in your heart?
And resigned yourself to knowing
you'd still need to pray alot.
When suddenly the problem
that you thought would last for days
is quickly solved and dealt with
in the most amazing way!

Have you ever said a silent prayer
for a loved one who is lost?
And hoped that they will see the light
and kneel before the cross.
When Suddenly God leans in close
and whispers in their ear,
and they bcome convicted
and give their lives right there!

Then you have known
just how it feels
to see Gods love in play.
That is why we need to wait
on a "suddenly" from Him each day.

WHAT IS A MOTHER

A mother is a doormat and a dishwasher,
She is a washing machine and button sewer onner.
She is the cook, the baker and the carpenter.
She is the doctor, the mediator and the referee.
She is the constant, the run too, the always there.
She can never get sick,
She can never take leave.
She is always a wife,
She is a mother for life.
She never gets a holiday
And doesn’t get to break away.
She just wants to be loved
The way she loves her own.
“Thank you mom” or “I love you”
Is all she wants to hear
These words would mean the world to her.
When whispered in her ear.
She wants to be remembered,
To know that she is loved.
There are no gifts throughout the world
To replace the gift of love.
A handmade card, a tender word,
A hug from dad sometimes.
A simple “I understand”
When tears come unexplained.
A gentle touch, a quiet word
Can always make her day.
If you have a mom, remember her today
Don’t wait for mothers day
To say what you want to say
She needs to hear it often,
Or she will think she has failed.
She has a heart big and tender
Even though she looks tough as nails
