Teach Him

Lord, take my husband into Your hands

and show him a vision of Your wonderful plan

Take his heart as hard as stone

and show him Lord, that he is thine Own

Teach him Lord that he may find

peace in You of soul and mind

change his thoughs bitter as aloe

Into thoughts pure as snow

Teach him Lord that he may see

how blessed a life in You could be

change his words that cut like blades

into words of only praise

Teach him Lord that he may discover

love thru' You for earthly brothers

change his eyes that see things so worldly

into eyes that can see what the Spirit's Will be

Teach him Lord that he may follow

only Your way free of sorrow

change his ears that hear only mans words

into ears that listen to Your word

Lord take my husband into Your hands

and show him a vision of Your wonderful plan

take his life and let it be

consecrated, My Lord to Thee
